Army units to ensure medical care for troops at border and on islands

(Bqp.vn) - Since early last year, medical departments of army units have applied all measures to prevent seasonal diseases from spreading and to ensure food safety, and vaccination for all new recruits.

 

Medical staff of Khanh Hoa Provincial Border Guards Command give free health check-ups and medicines to fishermen.

This was announced by the Scientific Council for Military Medicine of the Ministry of National Defence on April 20th.

Besides, many military hospitals paid attention to updating new technologies, especially key technologies and timely organized telemedicine conferences to save many people on Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 platforms.

Last year, all army units donated 7,624 units of blood for patient treatment.

In the time to come, military medical units are determined to improve healthcare quality for troops to defend national sovereignty over sea and islands and border areas while effectively exploiting and mastering medical equipment.
