All are oriented to the high-peak emulating period during 55 excellently working days from April 1st to May 25th to commemorate the establishing day of Group 559 (the group taking the task of opening the legendary Truong Son road). On that spirit, the units belonging to Truong Son general construction company implementing the bidding packages in Phu Yen province have all mobilized more machines, equipment, labor force to work urgently.

Among the 8 contractors belonging this general company, one-member limited company 492 (Company 492) is highly appreciated by the management board of Thang Long project (representative of the investor), as one the units with high determination, executing the construction at urgent pace in terms of the project’s rate or progress. Senior lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Phong, deputy director of Company 492, lets known, “Being one of the units in troop unit 12, we have permeated the emulation program to every cadre, solider, staff working in the national defense sector to join in working at the construction sites to complete the assigned tasks. Company 492 takes the responsibility of expanding 4km and building two bridges, including railroad surpassing bridge and Dong Sa Bridge in Chi Thanh townlet, Tuy An district with the approximate value of 150 billion dongs. Currently, the main investor is transferring 1.2km of road on the spirit of implementing wherever completed transferring. Company 492 is concentrating on embanking the road surface and treating weak road part at the leading road of south railroad surpassing bridge as well as installing sand stakes. As for the item of railroad surpassing bridge, we have already conducted drilling emerging stakes for 8 out of 30 stakes; pilot installing the abutment of Dong Sa Bridge. It’s estimated that prior to this year’s rainy season, Company 492 will have completed covering with macadam on the assigned road part, implementing the drilling of emerging stakes for all abutments.

In Phu Yen, Truong Son general construction company has implemented expanding 38.5km of the National Avenue 1A with total value of constructing and installing of 1,000 billion dongs. The contractors have put into the constructing sites 200 pieces of equipment, vehicles, with 30 executing points, in the coming time; contractors will enhance more once site clearance has been further completed. Although the emulating period this time is only during 55 days, with the traditions of the soldiers who used to join in opening the Truong Son road, the cadres, soldiers and staff of the national defense sector are working enthusiastically to complete the bidding packages of expanding the National Avenue 1 with the part past Phu Yen as to the assigned plan set by the Ministry of Traffic and Transportation.
